CASTOR collection:  a family of essential objects making use of small diameter oak wood for the Japanese company Karimoku New Standard.

Called CASTOR, the items are all related by a detail that reminds of the  traces left by beavers on wood.

The CASTOR chair is made from solid Japanese oak which is gained from low-diameter trees that have previously remained significantly underused, ending up mostly as wood chips for paper pulp.

The CASTOR chair comes in three colors: natural oak, medium grey and black.
